Last Day of Early Voting in Travis County: 368,507 Ballots Cast Through Thursday, Polls Open Until 7 — and Seven Sites Until 10 Tonight
Nearly four in ten registered Travis County voters have already voted. Friday is the last early chance: 45 sites, extended hours at seven of them, and then the election moves to Tuesday's 201 Election Day sites.

Travis County enters the last day of early voting with 368,507 ballots already cast through Thursday, October 29 — 39 percent of the county's 945,505 registered voters, according to the StatPlate turnout tracker read by this desk this morning. Statewide, 6,240,925 Texans have voted early, 33 percent of registered voters. Williamson County stands at 191,171 early ballots (40 percent) and Hays County at 80,607 (40 percent).
Friday's hours are the county's longest. Travis County's 45 early-voting sites are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and seven stay open until 10 p.m. tonight: Ben Hur Shrine Center, Lakeway Activity Center, Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex, the PfISD Rock Gym in Pflugerville, Randalls Brodie, the Travis County Clerk's Office on Airport Boulevard and the UT Texas Union. A 45th site, in Del Valle, is open Friday only. Travis County voters may vote at any site in the county, and election officials are urging voters to use the remaining hours to avoid expected Election Day lines, FOX 7 Austin reported.
Bring the right ID. For voters aged 18 to 69, an acceptable photo ID may be expired by up to four years; for voters 70 and older, it may be expired for any length of time if otherwise valid, FOX 7 reported. Voters who do not possess and cannot reasonably obtain an acceptable photo ID may sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and present a supporting document such as a voter registration certificate, a utility bill, a bank statement or a paycheck.
Miss tonight and the election moves to one day: Tuesday, November 3, when polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 201 Travis County sites, and anyone in line by 7 p.m. is legally permitted to vote. Sites, wait times and sample ballots are at votetravis.gov.
