Limited Ballots in Travis County: Friday Is the Last Chance, and Only at the Clerk's Office on Airport Boulevard
Texas voters registered in another county can still vote a limited ballot for statewide races in Travis County — but only in person, only at 5501 Airport Boulevard, and only through the end of early voting on Friday.

Friday is the deadline for a ballot many Austin students did not know they had. Texas residents who are registered in another county may cast a limited early ballot in Travis County for statewide races — U.S. senator, governor, attorney general and Supreme Court justices among them — if they certify a local address, WiseVoter reported, citing the Statesman. Local Travis County contests are not on a limited ballot.
The where and when are narrow, and both close today. A limited ballot can only be cast in person during the early voting period, and only at one place: the Travis County Clerk's Office at 5501 Airport Boulevard, The Daily Texan reported. That office is one of the seven sites open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, the final two days of early voting.
After Friday, the option is gone. Students and other voters registered elsewhere cannot cast a limited ballot on Election Day, and there is no voting on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. A voter who misses Friday and wants to vote a full ballot must vote in the county where they are registered on Tuesday, November 3.
The registration deadline in this cycle was October 5. Voters unsure of their registration county can check through VoteTexas.gov, and the Clerk's early-voting information is at VoteTravis.gov. Election Day polls across Travis County are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
