Cardinals Beat the Cowboys 33-30 in Overtime: Minshew's Comeback, a Missed Extra Point, and Ryland's 42-Yard Winner
Dallas led 17-3, then 27-17 with under four minutes left. Arizona's backup quarterback threw three touchdown passes anyway, the tying kick missed - and the same kicker won it in overtime at AT&T Stadium.

Gardner Minshew led the Arizona Cardinals to a 14-point comeback to force overtime, and Chad Ryland atoned for a missed extra point with a game-winning field goal, in a 33-30 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Arlington, Reuters reported.
Minshew replaced Jacoby Brissett in the third quarter with Arizona trailing 17-3 and promptly engineered four straight touchdown drives to end regulation. He threw three touchdown passes in all, completing 17 of 23 attempts for 188 yards; Tyler Allgeier ran for 147 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, and Michael Wilson caught eight passes for 111 yards for Arizona (3-5). Dallas (3-5) still led 27-17 after Brandon Aubrey's 35-yard field goal with 3:54 left in regulation - and led 30-24 after another Aubrey kick with 1:09 left - before Minshew drove Arizona to the Cowboys' 13 and threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Wilson with six seconds remaining.
The extra point would have won it 31-30. Ryland pulled it wide left instead, sending the game to overtime at 30-30 - where Josh Sweat sacked Dak Prescott to end Dallas's first possession, Arizona drove 44 yards in eight plays, and Ryland's 42-yard field goal won it. Arizona outgained Dallas 467-261 and rushed for 202 yards. It is Arizona's fifth straight win over Dallas, and the Cowboys fall to 3-5 at the season's unofficial halfway mark.
