Bills Beat the Ravens 36-10: Josh Allen Passes Jim Kelly's Franchise Touchdown Record, and Baltimore Loses Lamar Jackson to Injured Reserve (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

Josh Allen threw two touchdown passes and scored another rushing, and the Buffalo Bills overcame a sloppy first half to beat the Baltimore Ravens 36-10 on Sunday in Orchard Park, the Associated Press reported. Dalton Kincaid, with a 23-yard touchdown catch, and DJ Moore, with an 11-yarder, scored on consecutive fourth-quarter possessions, and James Cook added a 5-yard touchdown run as the AFC East-leading Bills moved to 6-1 - the ninth 6-1 start in franchise history.

The record fell in the fourth quarter. Allen's 11-yard scoring pass to Moore with 12:18 left was the 259th touchdown pass of his career including postseason play, breaking the franchise record set by Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, Reuters reported. Allen finished 21 of 34 for 289 yards with two touchdowns and one interception, and Cook rushed for 80 yards and a score as Buffalo won its third straight.

Baltimore's afternoon was decided by injuries. Lamar Jackson's return after missing three games with an ankle injury lasted one play, the AP reported, and backup Tyler Huntley was also lost in the first half; undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano finished the game in his NFL debut despite injuring his right foot late in the third quarter, Deadspin reported. The Ravens (4-4) have lost three straight - and the news got worse after the game: coach Jesse Minter said Jackson needs thumb surgery and will be placed on injured reserve, Reuters reported.
