Williamson County Tops 176,000 Ballots Through Nine Days of Early Voting, With the Round Rock Jester Annex the Busiest Site
More than 37 percent of Williamson County's registered voters — 176,270 people — had cast ballots through Tuesday, according to the county's unofficial totals, with the final three days of early voting still to run.

Williamson County voters have cast 176,270 ballots through the first nine days of early voting for the November 3 election, according to the county's unofficial totals — 37.38 percent of its 471,602 registered voters, a slightly higher share than neighboring Travis County has recorded over the same span.
Tuesday, the ninth day, brought 16,097 ballots: 15,624 in person, 277 by mail, 117 limited ballots and 79 provisional ballots. That was down about 6 percent from Monday's 17,184, a dip driven partly by mail ballots, which fell from 614 on Monday to 277 on Tuesday.
The Williamson County Jester Annex in Round Rock was again the busiest location on Tuesday, with 1,619 voters, followed by the Leander Senior Activity Center (1,142), the Cedar Park Recreation Center (1,132), the Brushy Creek Community Center (1,111) and Hutto City Hall (1,009). The quietest sites were Florence City Hall, with 83 voters, East View High School (116) and the Round Rock Annex (140). A few locations bucked the dip — the Leander Senior Activity Center, the Liberty Hill ISD Gym Annex and the Spicewood Springs Library each drew more voters on Tuesday than on Monday.
The county's early vote was front-loaded: opening day, October 19, remains the busiest of the period at 29,006 ballots, including a one-day surge of 3,232 mail ballots. Elections Administrator Bridgette Escobedo said the first day's in-person turnout of 25,694 ran ahead of the 2022 midterm's first day, at about 15,000, though behind 2024's roughly 27,000. Three days of early voting remain — Wednesday through Friday, October 28 to 30 — before Election Day on Tuesday, November 3.
