Travis County voters have cast 325,004 ballots through the first nine days of early voting for the November 3 joint general and special elections, according to unofficial totals from the Travis County Clerk's Elections Division. That is 34.26 percent of the county's 948,575 registered voters, with the final three days of early voting — Wednesday through Friday, October 28 to 30 — still to come.

Tuesday, the ninth day, recorded 34,484 ballots, a slight increase from Monday's 34,298. The day broke down as 33,770 in-person voters, 323 limited ballots and 391 mail ballots received. Across the nine days, in-person voting at early-voting locations accounts for 309,088 ballots — about 95 percent of the total — alongside 14,638 mail ballots received and 1,278 limited ballots.

The shape of the period is a strong start, a weekend dip and a late rebound. Early voting opened Monday, October 19, with the busiest day of the period: 49,987 ballots, boosted by 9,170 mail ballots received that day. Weekday turnout stayed above 38,000 through Friday, October 23, then fell to 25,450 on Saturday and 18,733 on Sunday, the slowest day so far, before climbing back above 34,000 on each of the last two days.

Ben Hur Shrine Center in Austin has been the busiest location overall, with 13,100 voters over nine days, followed closely by Bee Cave City Hall at 12,770. The rest of the top six are the Pflugerville ISD Rock Gym (11,609), Austin Energy Headquarters (11,072), Typhoon Texas Waterpark (10,968) and Austin Oaks Church (10,237). On Tuesday alone, Ben Hur again led with 1,477 voters. At the other end of the list, the Travis County Civil and Family Courts Facility has seen the fewest voters, 3,099 over nine days — including just 67 on Saturday and 59 on Sunday. The totals are unofficial, and the county's report does not yet include the final three days. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
