Run the Jewels Will Play Their First Shows in Nearly Two Years to Open Austin's New United Heritage Hall (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

Austin's newest concert hall will open with a comeback. Run the Jewels — the duo of El-P and Killer Mike — have announced their first live shows in nearly two years, performing as part of the grand opening of United Heritage Hall, a new 4,000-capacity venue in Austin, Consequence reported on Wednesday.

The two shows are set for March 5 and 6, 2027. They will be the duo's first confirmed live performances since July 2025, ending a stage absence that stretches across the whole of this year for one of hip-hop's most celebrated live acts.

For the venue, landing the duo's return is a statement opening: a grand-opening bill built on a group whose shows are events in themselves, in a room sized at 4,000 — big enough for a major night, small enough to sell as an occasion. The shows add a new anchor room to an Austin live-music map that runs on exactly this kind of pairing of a returning act and a new stage.

Tickets for the Run the Jewels comeback go on sale Friday, October 30, via AXS, according to the announcement. No support acts or ticket prices were included in the announcement as reported.
