Austin's Virtuix Expects Strong Second-Quarter Revenue Growth After Its Meta Quest Launch, and Sets a November 16 Call (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

Austin-based Virtuix Holdings Inc. said on Tuesday that it expects to report strong revenue growth for the second quarter of its fiscal year 2027, which ended September 30, driven in part by increased sales of its Omni One system following the company's June launch of Omni One for Quest in collaboration with Meta.

Virtuix, which trades on NASDAQ under the ticker VTIX and develops AI-driven, full-body simulation systems built around its Omni omni-directional treadmill, said the expectations are preliminary and remain subject to completion of its quarter-end financial closing procedures. The company will host a conference call on Monday, November 16, at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time to discuss the results.

“We are excited to share what we anticipate will be a standout quarter for Virtuix, driven by meaningful growth in Omni One revenues following our successful launch of Omni One for Quest in collaboration with Meta,” Jan Goetgeluk, the company's chairman and chief executive officer, said in the release. Chief Financial Officer Thomas McGinnis will host the call with Goetgeluk.

The call will also cover the company's expanding defense and enterprise footprint, including recent sales to the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, developments in humanoid robotics and enterprise applications, and the company's upcoming autism therapy pilot, Virtuix said.
