Tyrese Maxey Scores 27 and Anfernee Simons Sparks the Fourth Quarter as the 76ers Rally Past the Pacers 114-109
Philadelphia scored 13 points in the third quarter — then 39 in the fourth. Anfernee Simons' 20 off the bench ignited the run that erased a 13-point deficit in Indianapolis and kept the 76ers at 4-1.

The Philadelphia 76ers played one of the worst quarters of their young season on Wednesday night, and then one of the best. Outscored 36-13 in the third quarter at Indiana, they answered with a 39-21 fourth to beat the Pacers 114-109 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Reuters reported.
Tyrese Maxey led a balanced attack with 27 points, and Anfernee Simons ignited the deficit-erasing fourth-quarter run, finishing with 20 points off the bench. The star line underneath them is deep: Joel Embiid had 21 points and 11 rebounds, Jaylen Brown 20 points and 10 rebounds, and LeBron James 13 points and 10 assists.
Indiana, playing without Tyrese Haliburton (hamstring), got 26 points and 11 rebounds from Pascal Siakam and an 18-point, 14-assist double-double from Andrew Nembhard, and held a 13-point lead, 88-75, entering the fourth. The Pacers (2-3) could not hold it.
Philadelphia moves to 4-1 with a win that says something about its floor: even a 13-point quarter could not sink it. For Indiana, the lesson is the mirror image — a double-digit fourth-quarter lead at home, without its best player, is the hardest kind to defend, and the Pacers defended it for about nine minutes.
