Travis County Early Voting Passes 290,000 Through Monday, With Four Days Left and Nearly a Third of Registered Voters In
Monday's 34,210 ballots rebounded from a slow weekend and pushed the eight-day total to 290,432 - 30.62 percent of the county's 948,575 registered voters - with Ben Hur Shrine Center and Bee Cave City Hall leading the sites.

Travis County's early vote passed 290,000 on Monday, as 34,210 voters cast ballots to bring the eight-day total to 290,432, according to the Travis County Clerk's Elections Division daily report compiled by Jouster. That is 30.62 percent of the county's 948,575 registered voters, with four days of early voting left before it closes Friday, October 30.
Monday rebounded sharply from the weekend. Sunday drew 18,733 voters and Saturday 25,450; Monday's 34,210 included 33,278 in-person voters, 222 limited ballots and 710 mail ballots received. Opening day, October 19, remains the busiest single day at 49,987.
Across the eight days, in-person voting accounts for the overwhelming share: 275,318 ballots cast at early voting locations, against 955 limited ballots and 14,159 mail ballots received - about 95 percent in person, the compilation notes.
Two sites lead the county. Ben Hur Shrine Center has recorded 11,623 voters since October 19, with Bee Cave City Hall close behind at 11,455 and the PfISD Rock Gym third at 10,488. On Monday alone, Ben Hur drew 1,466 voters and Bee Cave 1,389. The least-used sites over eight days were the Travis County Civil and Family Courts Facility (2,760) and Cepeda Branch Library (3,228) - a reminder that any Travis County voter may vote at any site, and the short lines are rarely at the busiest addresses.
Early voting runs Tuesday through Friday, October 27 to 30, and Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. All figures are unofficial and come from the county clerk's daily report, current through October 26.
