Texas at Missouri Gets an 11 a.m. Kickoff on November 7, the Longhorns' First Trip to Faurot Field Since 2011
The SEC announced Monday that Texas's November 7 game at No. 23 Missouri will kick off at 11 a.m. Central on ABC or ESPN — an early start in Columbia, where the Longhorns have not played since 2011.

When No. 11 Texas travels to Faurot Field for the first time since 2011, kickoff will be at 11 a.m. Central on Saturday, November 7, against the No. 23 Missouri Tigers, the SEC announced on Monday. ABC or ESPN will televise the game, according to Burnt Orange Nation's report of the announcement.
Before heading back on the road, Texas plays its third straight home game this weekend, against Mississippi State, and opened as a 20.5-point favorite on Sunday, according to FanDuel. The Missouri trip then starts a closing road stretch for the Longhorns, who have not played a true road game since September 26.
Missouri is 6-2 this season, with losses to then-No. 24 Mississippi State and then-No. 9 Ole Miss. The Tigers travel to Arkansas to face the 3-4 Razorbacks next weekend, and their best victory so far was a 45-17 home win over the then-No. 8 Florida Gators in early October.
The first game in the Texas-Missouri series was played in 1894, and most meetings came while both were members of the Big 12. Texas leads the all-time series 18-9-1, including a 33-16 win in the 2017 Texas Bowl. In the Longhorns' last trip to Columbia, in 2011, Texas lost 17-5.
