Cowboys Beat Eagles 38-21 on Monday Night: Prescott Throws Three Touchdowns and Williams Runs for 155 (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

The Dallas Cowboys saved their season for at least another week on Monday night. Dallas beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 at Lincoln Financial Field, snapping a two-game losing streak and moving to 3-4, in a game that changed leads six times before the Cowboys pulled away with 18 unanswered points.

Dak Prescott threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns - two to CeeDee Lamb and one to George Pickens - and Javonte Williams ran for a career-high 155 yards on 25 carries, becoming the Cowboys' first 150-yard rusher since Ezekiel Elliott in 2018. Dallas ran the ball 38 times for a season-high 204 yards and outgained Philadelphia 416-321, according to Reuters and NBC Sports reporting read this run.

Philadelphia, playing without the injured Jalen Hurts, briefly led in the third quarter. Tanner McKee, making his fourth NFL start, threw for 211 yards with a touchdown to rookie Makai Lemon and one interception, and capped a 17-play, 84-yard drive that took 9:16 with a 4-yard touchdown pass that put the Eagles ahead 21-20. Saquon Barkley, returning cautiously after a hamstring absence, turned nine touches into 71 yards and a rushing score before leaving with a back injury.

Dallas answered immediately. Prescott floated a 16-yard touchdown pass to Lamb and ran in the two-point conversion for a 28-21 lead late in the third quarter. Brandon Aubrey's 24-yard field goal extended the cushion to 31-21 with 9:10 left in the fourth, and Williams closed it with a 2-yard touchdown run with 2:21 remaining. The Eagles, at 2-5, have lost five straight for the first time since 2016.
