Where to Vote on Election Day in Austin: Polls Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and Any Travis County Site Works
Early voting already banked 447,689 ballots - 47.20 percent of Travis County's registered voters. Tuesday is the last chance, at any polling site in the county.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Travis County polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m., The Austin Bulletin reported in its Nov. 2 election briefing, read in full this cycle. Travis County voters can vote at any county polling site - there is no assigned precinct to find - and the county's Election Day site list is posted, with a wait-times section and a voter lookup for checking registration and a personal ballot.
The county does not start from zero on Tuesday. Early voting brought in 447,689 ballots, 47.20 percent of the county's 948,575 registered voters, according to the briefing's county figures: 427,412 in-person early votes made up 95.5 percent of the total, with 16,793 mail ballots (3.8 percent) and 3,484 limited ballots (0.8 percent). The county's live turnout tracker for the Nov. 3 election is already up, and once polls close the county posts results on its election results site.
Two practical notes from the briefing matter on the day itself. Limited ballots - for voters who moved here from another Texas county - were available only during early voting, at 5501 Airport Blvd.; anyone with an eligibility question can call the county elections office at 512-238-8683. And because any site in the county works, the fastest vote on Tuesday is usually not the closest site but the one with the shortest posted wait - which is what the county's wait-times page exists for.
