Travis County Early Voting Ends Friday, With Extended Hours Until 10 P.M. on Thursday and Friday at Several Sites
Early voting in Travis County runs through Friday, Oct. 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any site in the county — with several sites open until 10 p.m. on the final two nights — ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Travis County voters have three days left to vote early. In-person early voting for the Nov. 3 midterm election, which began Oct. 19, ends Friday, Oct. 30, according to the Travis County Clerk's early-voting notice, with locations open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The final two days run long. Several Travis County sites stay open until 10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30, giving voters an after-work window on the last two nights of early voting. Travis County uses countywide vote centers, so a registered Travis County voter can cast a ballot at any open site in the county, during early voting and on Election Day — including, for campus voters, the Texas Union and the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
What is on the ballot is long: U.S. Senate and U.S. House races, Texas governor and the other statewide offices, five Austin City Council seats, Travis County judge and clerk seats, Austin ISD board positions, bond propositions and city charter changes, according to the county and ballot guides published for this election. Voters can check their registration, sample ballot and site wait times through the Travis County Clerk's elections pages before they go.
After Friday, the remaining chance to vote in person is Election Day itself, Tuesday, Nov. 3, with polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Anyone in line at 7 p.m. can still vote. The Politics Desk will file turnout updates through the final early-voting days as the county posts them.
