Another Austin technology company takes a public stage this week. Phunware announced Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Dmitry Kroshka will present at Emerging Growth Conference 97 on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 9:40 a.m. Eastern Time, in a virtual presentation with a question-and-answer session.

Phunware describes itself as a provider of AI-enabled guest intelligence software to operators of hotels, resorts and other large, complex properties. Kroshka will give an overview of what the company calls Phunware 2.0 and its Guest Intelligence Platform, which the company says brings together location intelligence and guest engagement capabilities to help property operators improve the guest experience, better understand guest behavior and identify opportunities to generate ancillary revenue.

The discussion will also address the company's progress with AI Concierge, which Phunware says was commercially launched in January 2026, the roadmap for its AI Itinerary Builder and Location-Aware Data Layer, and opportunities to extend the platform into adjacent markets, including healthcare and senior living, according to the announcement.

Investors may also request one-on-one meetings with management during the conference, the company said. The presentation is the second Austin technology briefing on this cycle's business file, on a week when the city's software companies are putting their AI platforms in front of customers and investors.
