Patriots Rally to Beat the Dolphins 24-19: Drake Maye Throws Two Second-Half Touchdown Passes as New England Scores 21 Straight in Miami
Miami led 13-3 at halftime in the rain. Then Drake Maye completed eight straight passes, threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third - and New England left South Florida 5-3.

The New England Patriots scored the first 21 points of the second half and held on to beat the Miami Dolphins 24-19 on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium, NBC Sports reported. Miami led 13-3 at the break, but quarterback Drake Maye completed eight straight passes to open the second half, picking up 144 yards and two touchdowns - one a long strike to Kyle Williams, the other a short throw that DeMario Douglas turned into a 48-yard score - as New England built a two-score lead of its own.
Maye finished 16 of 20 passing for 199 yards and two touchdowns without an interception, and he also ran for a two-yard score, according to Sportradar's game record. The Douglas touchdown came a couple of plays after safety Kevin Byard's first interception as a Patriot, on a Malik Willis throw that spun into the air off defensive lineman DaQuan Jones's helmet, NBC Sports reported. Running back Rhamondre Stevenson carried 18 times for 77 yards and picked up the final yards as New England ran out the clock.
Miami made it close late. Willis threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Kevin Coleman with 2:04 to play to cut the margin to 24-19, the Palm Beach Post reported, but New England recovered the onside kick and closed the game out. Willis was 21 of 32 for 211 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. The Patriots, who played without receiver A.J. Brown - out with ankle and knee injuries - improved to 5-3 and host the Green Bay Packers next Sunday; the Dolphins fell to 1-6.
