Austin Sunday Weather: 85.2 and Partly Cloudy Late in the Day, and Election Day's Rain Chance Climbs to 75 Percent
Sunday beat its own forecast — 85.2 degrees is both the current reading and the revised high. Monday still opens in fog, and Tuesday's Election Day rain is now coded at 75 percent, the highest reading of the weekend.

Austin's warm Sunday kept going. The station's live weather feed, read late Sunday afternoon, November 1, showed 85.2 degrees under partly cloudy skies (code 2), feeling like 89.2 — and 85.2 is now the day's high, revised up from the 84.1 the feed carried at mid-afternoon, with a low of 61.8 and a 1 percent precipitation chance.
Monday remains the hinge day, but warmer. The feed holds fog (code 45) over Austin to start Monday, now with a high of 81.7 and a low of 67.8, up from 79.8 and 65.1 earlier, and a 3 percent rain chance — a grey, slow morning commute rather than a wet one.
The Election Day change is the one to plan around. Tuesday is still coded as rain (code 65), the high holds at 78.3 and the low eases to 65.2, but the precipitation probability rose to 75 percent from 70 percent — the strongest signal yet in this weekend's files that voters should expect rain on the trip to the polls. Travis County's 201 Election Day vote centers are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, and anyone in line at 7 p.m. still votes. Behind the front, Wednesday turns overcast and dry at 79.9 with a 0 percent rain chance, and Thursday climbs back to 82.9.
