It's Official: Compliance Solutions Is the Presenting Sponsor of the Inaugural Austin Championship at Barton Creek (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

Austin's new PGA Tour event has its name filled in. The PGA Tour announced on Monday that Compliance Solutions, Inc. is the presenting sponsor of the 2026 Austin Championship, which will debut the week of Nov. 9-15 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa's Fazio Canyons Course, according to the Tour's official announcement, read in full this cycle. The Austin Championship presented by Compliance Solutions will be broadcast on Golf Channel, with PGA Tour Live on the ESPN App, PGA Tour Radio on SiriusXM and the World Feed also carrying it.

"The PGA Tour is pleased to welcome Compliance Solutions as presenting sponsor of the inaugural Austin Championship," Dan Glod, the Tour's executive vice president of corporate partnerships, said in the announcement. The company's founder and president, Mark Lammert, said the firm is proud to support the tournament and "to continue to grow the game of golf through the world-class PGA Tour competition on the Canyons course." Compliance Solutions is no stranger to the Tour's ecosystem: it has sponsored the Korn Ferry Tour's Compliance Solutions Championship since 2023 and has been presenting sponsor of the Stifel Charity Classic on PGA Tour Champions since 2025.

The announcement closes the sponsorship question that has hung over the event since the summer. The tournament launched as the Good Good Championship, and Good Good stepped away after backlash over a promotional video produced with a former partner, Golfweek and Golf Digest reported in coverage read this cycle; this station reported on Oct. 29 that Compliance Solutions was expected to step in. Monday's announcement makes it official, one week before play begins.

The local stake is charitable as well as sporting. Proceeds will benefit Travis County and greater Austin charities, the Tour said, with primary beneficiaries Play Yellow — the Children's Miracle Network fundraising program, supporting pediatric cancer initiatives at the Blood and Cancer Center at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin — and Folds of Honor. The stage itself is ready: the Fazio Canyons Course, a 7,451-yard, par-72 layout through limestone cliffs and Short Spring Branch, recently underwent an extensive renovation with architect Tom Fazio, who designed it in 1999, playing a significant role in restoring his own course.
