PGA Tour's Austin Championship Finds Its Sponsor: Compliance Solutions Expected to Step In Two Weeks Before the First Tee
Two weeks before its first tee shot, Austin's new PGA Tour event has a sponsor again. Compliance Solutions is expected to be announced as presenting sponsor of the Austin Championship at Barton Creek, replacing the departed Good Good in time for the November 12-15 debut.

The inaugural PGA Tour Austin Championship will not go forward without a significant sponsor after all. With just two weeks before the tournament gets underway, Golfweek reported Thursday that it has learned from local sources that Compliance Solutions is expected to be announced as a presenting sponsor of the 2026 FedEx Cup Fall event, scheduled for November 12-15 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa's Fazio Canyons Course in Austin. An official announcement from the PGA Tour is expected soon - potentially as early as Monday, Golfweek reported. As of Thursday afternoon the deal was reported, not yet announced.
The vacancy it fills was a public one. The tournament was originally launched as the Good Good Championship, but Good Good stepped away from the title sponsorship following backlash over a promotional video produced in conjunction with then-partner Callaway. The advertisement, which promoted a new Callaway driver, drew criticism for depicting a man shoving a woman to the ground - and left a first-year Tour event without its name sponsor on the eve of its debut.
The incoming sponsor knows the golf business from the inside. Compliance Solutions - a compliance, accounting, tax and business advisory services firm - has served as title sponsor of the Compliance Solutions Championship on the Korn Ferry Tour since 2023, and sponsored the Route 66 Cup, a season-long competition with a $100,000 bonus pool that concluded at its tournament at the Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma.
For Austin, the stakes are a place on the calendar. A FedEx Cup Fall event is the city's return to the PGA Tour schedule, played at a Hill Country resort course built for gallery golf - and first editions live or die on whether they look established. A presenting sponsor in place before the first tee, Golfweek's reporting suggests, gives the debut the stability its preparations needed.
