Austin's November Concert Calendar: Steve Lacy, KATSEYE, Slow Pulp and a Packed First Week (AUSTIN CAPITAL NEWS)

Halloween is not the end of Austin's live-music season; it is barely the midpoint. The city's November concert calendar runs from club dates to arena shows, and the first week is the most crowded stretch of the month, according to the November guide published Saturday by KXAN's Austin Texas News, drawing on Ones To Watch.

The month starts Sunday, Nov. 1, with The Linda Lindas on Mohawk's outdoor stage. Doja Cat and Latto play Moody Center on Tuesday, Nov. 3 - Election Day - and Slow Pulp plays Emo's Austin on Wednesday, Nov. 4, between stops in Dallas and Houston; the guide's Oct. 30 ticket check listed Slow Pulp tickets from $49.10. Thursday, Nov. 5 splits the city two ways: Knocked Loose with Denzel Curry at Moody Amphitheater, and Dinosaur Jr. with Stef Chura at Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater.

The guide's priority pick is Steve Lacy at Moody Amphitheater on Saturday, Nov. 7, an all-ages show with a clear-bag policy in effect. The same night, Jon Pardi plays Round Rock Amphitheater with Alexandra Kay. John Summit's arena tour stops at Moody Center on Nov. 6, and They Might Be Giants play two Emo's shows on Nov. 6 and 7; a third date on Nov. 8 was canceled, the guide said.

Later in the month, KATSEYE plays Moody Center on Nov. 10, The Aces play Brushy Street Commons on Nov. 12 with Gatlin, and Ripe closes the calendar at Scoot Inn on Nov. 28. Ticket prices and availability in the guide reflect its Oct. 30 check and can change; readers should confirm with the venue before buying.
